As of now, only a handful of the announced branded bots were live. The future of the bots is very innovative. Creators are hoping that they will start chatting amongst humans, and even themselves, in ways that mimic a natural conversation. The bots will be able to provide a unique personality that will match humans’ interests.

What does this mean for advertisers? The best way to set apart your bot from competitors is providing a voice that is similar to a trusted friend. The bots are still in early stages of development, so no news as to what the long-term impact will be.
